A video circulating on twitter that Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s daughter endorsed Peter Obi is false.
The message in video endorses the candidacy of Obi and says “Yorubas should rise up against deceit” ,that there is a plot on Senator Tinubu’s life and plan to install is deputy .
Senator Bola Tinubu is the flagbearer for the APC party in the gubernatorial election in Nigeria.
There were various accounts on twitter who made this post like
Awolowo had only three daughters namely
Reverend Omotola Oyediran who is the first daughter passed away on 2020 at the age of 79.
Otunba Ayodele Olubusola Soyode his second daughter passed on 2011 at the age of 66.Her daughter is wife to the present Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Dr Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu is the last and only surviving daughter the former ambassador of Nigeria to the Netherlands is a septuagenarian and clearly not the woman in the video.

After performing a framebyframe analysis, using Invidweverify on the video the image produced shows a middle-aged woman bearing no resemblance to the three Awolowo daughters two, who are deceased.
Dr Awolowo Dosunmu also issued a statement saying she never spoke on the Tinubu/Shettima candidacy saying that news circulating were “false ,mischievous and lies”.
